This class is designed to nurture and calm your body, mind and emotional state. This practice is for all levels and employs longer holds in a sustainable shape. We use props and the goal is to feel sensation avoiding any pain or discomfort. Over time our connective tissue (the gristle that connects the muscle and bone) has a tendency to become stiff and dry, causing misalignment and discomfort. The practice of YIN nourishes and revitalizes the tissue allowing for proper alignnent of our bones resulting in less pain, better sleep and over all improved well being. Bring your mat.
